Vino Vriday came out of the idea that there’s a lack of places to go on a Friday night, and hear a wavy mix of music centered around New Age R&B, as well as Afrobeat, and West Coast Melodic Rap, sip some wine, be in a social forward environment, and vibe the night away. I hosted it at my apartment lounge for Vol. 1 in Dec ‘23, then sold it out with a 100+ guests for Vol. 2 as a public debut in Feb ‘24.

Since then, the series has had 20 different events, ~3000 attendees, and event sits across various formats, from nightlife, to evening events, day parties, ones with live music, collaborations with photographers, artists, and worked with a Black-owned wine sponsor. The event is based in Brooklyn, but has also been in Manhattan, Philadelphia multiple times, and now Los Angeles, after the recent tour.

On top of that, it’s become a media hub for the Vino Conversations Podcast, social content on R&B, and is now a service provider of event curation for other people and brands.

In the soccer world, Gabriel is this co-founder of 5ASIDE Media and Wavy Footy, that has worked with some of the biggest leagues in the world like LALIGA, Bundesliga, Serie A, EFL, and brands like Nivea Men, Body Armor, and more.
